One of the very few remaining square chimney-stacks. This one is at the rear of Horrockses Mill, on New Hall lane, Preston.
The "ladder" running up one side, is in fact a series of old wooden-ladders, tied together !
As far as I'm concerned,you have to be either a very brave man, or a complete and utter fool to even contemplate
