Is a stabilizer must for computer?

Question by SWEETY: Is a stabilizer must for computer?
I have Numeric Digital 600 plus UPS connected to my computer. Since ours is an industrial line, voltage fluctations occur often. Some friends say that it is must to connect the computer to a stabilizer for its safety but some say that UPS is enough to safegaurd it. Can anyone explain in detail? Also, can the computer be connected to home UPS line?
