Question by Wendy R: Have you ever heard of a Health & Safety Scam?
There is a concern at my office that a relatively new hire may be scamming the company using an existing medical condition to a) avoid work, b) get time off that has not yet been accrued, c) qualify for disability (This has not happened yet) or d) get severance rather than quit a job she is unable to do. The condition prevents her from completing the job requirements, leaving others to do her job for her, and some of us
